Viewing the vehicles tested at your stations

This page is for garage owners, Authorised Examiners (AEs), quality control managers and testers who want to see which vehicles have been tested at their stations and open any one of them.

Where do I find the list of vehicles?

Open Vehicles in the sidebar of the signed-in area (the page is headed "Vehicles", with the summary "Vehicles tested at your stations."). On a phone, open More in the bottom bar to reach the sidebar. You can also press Ctrl K, type "Vehicles" and choose the Go to row.

The list shows one row per vehicle per station where that vehicle was tested. A vehicle tested at two of your stations appears twice, once for each station.

Which vehicles does the list include?

The list follows the scope picker at the top of the page: the organisation, the test station and the month. Change any of them and the list reloads. If you have not picked a particular station, the list covers every station you can see.

Retired vehicle records are never shown on this page.

If nothing has been tested in the chosen scope, the page shows "No vehicles tested in this period." Pick a different month or station, or check that your test logs have been uploaded (see What is MOTLogs?).

What columns does the list show?

By default the list shows seven columns: Station ID, Station Name, Created on, VIN, Registration, Make and Model. Created on is the date and time MOTLogs first recorded the vehicle.

Open the column chooser in the grid to show more columns, for example First used date, Fuel type, Primary colour, Engine size, Registration date and Manufacture date. Column headings can be clicked to sort.

How do I search, sort and page through vehicles?

Use the Search box in the grid toolbar to filter rows. It matches text in any column, so you can type part of a registration, a make or a station name. Click a column heading to sort by it.

The list shows 15 rows at a time. Use the page-size selector to switch to 5, 10, 15, 20, 50 or All.

On a narrow screen the grid switches to a stacked layout with one card per vehicle.

How do I open a vehicle?

Click anywhere on the vehicle's row. A window titled "Vehicle - " followed by the registration opens with two tabs, Details and History. See Vehicle details, photo and stored MOT history.
