First-month, empty and lapsed-subscription screens
This page is for new users, and for anyone who opens the Compliance overview and sees a welcome panel, a "subscription ended" panel or an empty card instead of figures.
What is the "Let's load your first month of MOT data" panel?
If your account has no MOT tests in any of the last 12 months, the overview shows a welcome panel headed Let's load your first month of MOT data instead of figures. It holds the upload wizard and the text Takes about 3 minutes. When your site setup includes a setup-call link, a Book a setup call button appears under the wizard. After the first upload is accepted, MOTLogs reloads your organisations and shows the overview.
The controls row is hidden on this screen.
What does "Your subscription has ended" mean?
If every station in your account has no active subscription and there is no MOT data in the last 12 months, the overview shows Your subscription has ended and the text MOT data for your stations is paused because there's no active subscription. Your history is safe. The header says MOT data paused. The panel lists each affected station and its organisation. Two buttons are offered: Renew subscription (opens the payments page) and Talk to us (the setup-call link, or an email to info@motlogs.com).
What does "No MOT data in the last 12 months" mean?
The header shows this when the welcome panel is showing. It means MOTLogs checked every station for the last 12 full months and found no tests. An empty single month is different: if the chosen month is empty but an earlier month has data, the page still shows the full layout with zeros and the empty cards described below.
What does the "Getting set up" checklist do?
The Getting set up card appears on accounts that have not finished setup and shows N of 4 done with a progress bar. Its four steps are:
- Upload your first MOT test log: done once any month has tests. The button is Upload logs.
- Set your opening hours: done when a station has opening hours. Without them, tests outside hours cannot be flagged. The button is Set hours.
- Add your testers: done when testers appear in your data. The button is Add testers.
- Invite a colleague: done when your organisation has a second person. The button is Invite.
Select Hide checklist to hide it. This is remembered in your browser for your sign-in only, and there is no button to bring it back. It disappears automatically when all four steps are done.
