Sign-off statuses
This page is for anyone using the Monthly sign-off page who wants to know what each status and check means.
What does the page show for each site?
The Monthly sign-off page lists one row per station in your organisations. The summary line above the list counts them: n ready, n need justification, n signed off, and n with no data when relevant. Each row has three checks and a status badge.
What do the three checks mean?
| Check | Shows | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
At-risk tests |
None at risk, x of y justified |
How many flagged tests already have a comment. A tick means all are justified, a warning triangle means some are not. |
Test quality info |
Loaded or Not loaded |
Whether DVSA Test Quality Information exists for the station and month. |
Signed off |
Not yet, or name and date |
Whether someone has already signed. |
Test quality info shows Not loaded as a warning but does not stop you signing off.
What do the status badges mean?
| Badge | Meaning | Button |
|---|---|---|
| Needs justification | At least one flagged test has no comment | Review n at-risk, which opens the MOT log filtered to at-risk tests |
| Ready | Every flagged test has a comment and the month is not yet signed | Sign off |
| Signed off | The month has been signed | None |
| No data | No MOT tests for the month. The row says "No MOT tests for |
None |
| Checking... | Figures are still loading | None |
| Unavailable | The site's figures could not be loaded. The row says "This site's figures could not be loaded." | Retry |
Rows are ordered: Needs justification (most open tests first), Ready, Signed off, then No data.
What if a whole organisation shows "Sites unavailable"?
If the list of stations for an organisation could not be loaded, a single row named Sites unavailable appears with Unavailable. Reload the page.
