Setting a tester's hours
This page is for Authorised Examiners who record the hours a tester works.
Where do I find a tester's hours?
On the Testers page, select Edit on the tester's row, then open the Hours tab. The left side is the form (titled Hours), the right side is the Hours List of saved periods.
How do I add a set of hours?
- Select Split to start a blank record. All times start at
00:00. - Pick a type in the dropdown above the days. For a tester the choices are Working and Lunch.
- For each day from Monday to Sunday, set a start time and an end time. Times go in 30-minute steps in
HH:mmformat. - Set the From and To dates. From defaults to today and To defaults to 31 Dec 9999 (no end).
- Select Submit Hours.
A toast says "The hours have now been saved" and the list reloads.
How do I change existing hours?
Select the row in the Hours List. Its values load into the form. Change them and select Submit Hours.
How do I remove or restore hours?
In the Hours List, the first button on each row is a minus icon (tooltip "Click to remove") that retires the row, or a plus icon (tooltip "Click to reinstate") on a retired row. The second button, a bin icon ("Click to delete"), deletes it. A deletion shows "The hours have now been deleted".
Why do I not see old hours?
The list shows current hours. Select Current in the list toolbar to toggle between current hours and the last five years including retired ones. Search filters the list.
