Searching and sorting the Testers list

This page is for anyone with a long Testers list who wants to find a tester quickly or change which columns show.

How do I search for a tester?

Use the Search box in the toolbar above the Testers table. Type part of a name, a DVSA user ID or a station name and press Enter. The table shows only matching rows. Clear the box and press Enter to see all testers again.

How do I sort the Testers table?

Select a column heading to sort by it. Select it again to reverse the order. The Tests, Fail %, At-risk, Median and Edit columns cannot be sorted. The At-risk figure is shown but cannot be sorted, so scan the red pills in that column to find your highest-risk testers.

How do I show or hide columns?

Select the column chooser button in the toolbar and tick or untick columns. Station ID is always hidden to start with because Station Name says the same thing, but you can tick it in the chooser. The Edit column is not in the chooser and always stays visible, pinned to the right edge.

How do I change how many testers show per page?

Use the page-size selector at the bottom of the table. The choices are 5, 10, 15, 20, 50 and All. The default is 15.

What changes on a phone?

On a narrow screen the table switches to a stacked layout, one block per tester, with the same fields.

Is there a filter for at-risk or inactive testers?

No. The Testers page has no filter for risk or inactivity. You can see both at a glance (the red At-risk pill and the Inactive badge), then select a tester's row to open their MOT tests already filtered to at-risk tests. See Opening a tester's MOT log.
