The page header and the ... menu on every section page
This page is for anyone using Performance, MOT test log, TQI log, Testers, Vehicles, Documents or Certificates and wanting to know what the header and the ... menu do.
What is in the header of a section page?
Every section page opens with the same header. It shows the page title, a one-line summary, and the scope you are looking at, written as <organisation> · <All sites or Station N> · <month>. On the right are the page's own actions, a Sign Off or Signed Off button when it applies, and a ... button (tooltip More actions).
The page body uses the same organisation, station and month as the picker in the top bar. There is no separate filter bar on each page. Section pages share the scope with the Compliance overview, so a change made on one carries to the other.
What if the page says to choose an organisation?
No organisation is linked to your account yet.means your sign-in has no organisation. Ask your organisation's administrator to add you.Choose an organisation to see <page name>.means no organisation is selected. Pick one in the top bar.
What is in the ... menu?
- Metrics opens the Metrics dialog. It is disabled until an organisation is chosen.
- Auto-refresh is a switch, off by default. When on, the page reloads its data periodically. It applies only to the page you are on. Its tooltip says
Click to enable auto refreshorClick to disable auto refresh. - Save view stores the current page, filter, organisation, station and month under a name you type (up to 60 characters).
- Saved views lists your saved views. Select one to jump to that page with that scope. The trash icon (
Delete view) removes it.
When you have no saved views, the menu says No saved views yet. Save view keeps this page, filter, organisation, station and month. Press Esc to close the menu.
What does the Metrics dialog do?
The Metrics dialog, titled Metrics - For <organisation> (or System defaults), holds the thresholds that decide which tests and measures are flagged. It has two tabs: MOT Risks, where you set lower and upper limits for checks such as Group B and Group A test time, and TQI Metrics, where you choose which TQI measures count and what they are compared with: Saved Set, Station Average, National Average or User Average. The Advanced switch shows the full set of checks.
If you have chosen a station, a drop-down labelled Showing For or Copy From lets you read the settings of another station and copy them. Choosing Station Average without a station shows You must first set the Station to look at the Station Average. Select Submit to save and Close to leave without saving. Changes alter which tests are flagged, so make them with your AE or quality control manager.
When does the Sign Off button appear?
Sign Off appears in the header only when you have chosen a single station (not All sites) and hold a role allowed to sign. Signed Off appears once that station's month has been signed; it opens a read-only record. See The sign-off button on the overview.
