Uploading tester certificates
This page is for Authorised Examiners who keep a tester's training and compliance certificates on record.
Where do I find a tester's certificates?
On the Testers page, select Edit on the tester's row, then open the Certificates tab. The left side is the form titled Certificates. The right side is the Certificates List.
How do I upload a certificate?
- Select New to start a blank record.
- Pick a Certificate Type from the dropdown.
- Under Upload Certificate, select Browse and choose a file.
- Set the From and To dates. From defaults to today and To defaults to 31 Dec 9999.
- Select Submit Certificate.
A toast says "The certificates have now been saved" and the list reloads.
Which files can I upload?
.png, .jpg, .jpeg and .pdf, one at a time, up to 10 MB for a PDF. Images are shrunk to fit 320 by 240 pixels.
What errors can I get?
| Message | Cause | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| "Please upload a certificate." | You selected Submit Certificate with no file | Choose a file first |
| "Please pick a certificate type." | No Certificate Type chosen | Pick a type |
How do I remove or restore a certificate?
The buttons in the Certificates List work like those on the Hours tab: a minus icon retires a row, a plus icon reinstates it, and a bin icon deletes it. Select Current in the toolbar to switch between current certificates and the last five years including retired ones. See Setting a tester's hours.
