Adding a tester photo

This page is for Authorised Examiners who want a photo on a tester's record.

How do I upload a photo?

1. On the Testers page, select Edit on the tester's row.
2. On the Details tab, find the Upload Image section.
3. Select Browse and choose a file, or drop one on the area.
4. The preview appears as soon as the file is chosen.
5. Select Submit at the bottom of the window.

The saved photo shows in the preview above the upload area the next time you open the record.

Which files can I upload?

Only .png, .jpg and .jpeg files, one at a time. MOTLogs shrinks the picture to fit within 640 by 480 pixels before saving it.

What happens if I choose the wrong file?

If the file is not an image, the toast says "Please choose an image file." and nothing is changed. To discard a chosen photo before saving, select the remove icon (titled Remove) on the preview.

Why has my photo not saved?

The photo is saved only when you select Submit. Closing the window loses it. If the save fails, the toast shows the reason; try again with a smaller image.
